1. Educate the women folk in the basics of child health care includes such things as the importance of breastfeeding. This is a very difficult issue given the high level of illiteracy in the country.

2. Emphasis on the care of the equality of girls. Bangladesh's record on the girl child is not impressive like its neighbor South Asia India.

3. Make people especially parents aware of the basic nutritional needs of a child. Giving them adequate solution to the food necessary to meet minimum nutritional standards.

3. Awareness campaigns on the importance of vaccination for children of all ages in the country.

4. regular advice to pregnant women about childbirth and to advise on the required level of nutrition during pregnancy.

5. Encourage women to give birth with the assistance of trained health workers and health center. In the absence of an appropriate medical facility experienced midwives or skilled birth attendants should be present during delivery.
